  Fortunately, my husband prepaid for his plan with Horan & McConaty, owners of the Cremation society of Colorado, in 2007. The Director of Family Services, R. Douglas Richardson, came to the house and helped us to arrange things just as we wanted. He was a lovely man and we really enjoyed his gentle humor and honest presentation. Not only did we then have peace of mind that matters would be cared for properly, but when I needed them to implement the plan last month, it only took a phone call. Hailey Matthews fixed us some tea, sat at the table and took us through all of the details with calm, unhurried explanations, and has shown real personal interest in who my husband was and in his memorial service. I highly recommend this company and am also pleased to know that by prepaying for a plan, we saved some money from the price increases that had occurred over the years.

  Using a cremation service is a difficult process, both emotionally and physically. When my Mother passed away, Hailey Matthews at the Cremation Society of Colorado was there to help my Father and I. We were extremely fortunate to have someone so respectful, professional and consoling to help us through such an emotionally strenuous process.

  I highly recommend this company! They were caring, respectful, professional and consoling from the moment we walked in. Peter was amazing!! When my husband passed away. When my daughter and I came in he was very compassionate and took us through every detail calmly and unhurriedly and showed a genuine interest in making sure that everything was right and gave us some helpful advice. He took away alot of the stress that we were feeling and did not pressure us into anything that we did not want to do.
